The machine
Our used and refurbished machines are individually described and photographed. The product page identifies the exact stock unit, its condition, included equipment, price and known material condition points. Please ask before buying if you need the machine for a particular purpose or electrical supply.
Payment
GoCardless Pay by Bank is offered only where the buyer confirms that the purchase and payment are being made on behalf of a business. Private buyers can submit a purchase request and we will contact them to arrange an appropriate secure payment method. An order is accepted when payment has been successfully authorised and we confirm the sale. If a machine becomes unavailable because of an inventory error, we will contact you and refund the payment.
Delivery and collection
Standard mainland UK delivery is £80 unless the listing states otherwise. Remote islands, restricted-access premises and unusual postcodes may require a separate quotation. Collection is available from our Greater Manchester workshop by appointment. Delivery times are estimates and may be affected by the carrier.
Check on arrival
Please inspect the packaging and machine promptly. Photograph visible transit damage before unpacking where possible and contact us as soon as reasonably possible. Do not operate equipment that appears unsafe or materially damaged.
Consumers
If you buy wholly or mainly outside your trade or profession, your statutory consumer rights apply. For most distance purchases, consumers normally have 14 days after delivery to notify us that they wish to cancel, followed by 14 days to return the goods. You must take reasonable care of the machine. We may make a lawful deduction if handling beyond what is necessary to inspect it reduces its value. Return transport for a heavy machine must be agreed with us before dispatch.
Business purchases
If you buy mainly for business use, business-to-business terms apply and consumer cancellation rights do not apply. This does not exclude rights that cannot legally be excluded. Contact us promptly if the machine is materially different from its description.
Returns
Contact us before returning a machine so that safe pallet transport, insurance and the correct return address can be arranged. Unless the machine is faulty, misdescribed or we agree otherwise, the buyer is responsible for the direct cost of return. Returned machines are inspected and tested. Lawful deductions may be made for diminished value caused by use beyond reasonable inspection, missing items, misuse or customer-caused damage. If no qualifying fault is found, unnecessary collection, inspection or redelivery costs may remain payable where lawful. Read our full returns policy.
Cancellation form
Consumers may cancel by emailing the following information to info@pressurewasherco.com: “I give notice that I cancel my contract for the sale of [machine and stock number], ordered on [date] and received on [date]. My name is [name], my address is [address], and my order reference is [reference].”
