Proper diagnosis for HDS machines.
Kärcher HDS machines combine a high-pressure pump, diesel burner, water-flow controls and electrical safety circuits. One visible symptom can have several causes, so we test the operating sequence before recommending parts.
HDS faults we commonly inspect.
- Machine runs but the burner will not fire
- White smoke, black smoke or poor combustion
- Pressure drops, pulses or takes too long to build
- Water leaking internally or from the pump head
- Burner fires once but does not restart
- Machine stops, trips or behaves differently when the trigger closes
Older and current Kärcher machines.
We regularly work with the practical differences between compact HDS machines and larger four-pole commercial models. That includes common machines such as the HDS 5/11, 6/12 C, 7/9, 7/10, 745, 895 and 10/20. The exact model and serial number help us identify the correct version before ordering parts.
Repair information by model.
Workshop coverage.
Workshop visits are by appointment. If the machine is heavy or three phase, tell us how it can be unloaded and what electrical supply it requires.
Frequently asked questions.
Which Kärcher HDS models do you repair?+
We work on compact, mid-size and heavy-duty Kärcher HDS machines, including older and current single-phase, 110V and three-phase models. Send the model and data-plate photo when booking.
Can you repair a Kärcher HDS that runs but does not heat?+
Yes. We test the burner sequence and its safety inputs before deciding which part has failed. The cause may be in the fuel, ignition, airflow, thermostat, flow detection or electrical control system.
Do you service older Kärcher HDS machines?+
Yes, where the machine is safe and parts or a sound repair are available. We explain when repair is economical before additional work is agreed.
